When asked by a young patrol officer, "Did you know that you were speeding?'
The 83 year old female driver gave the officer an ear to ear smile and stated:
"Yes, but......... I had to get there before I forgot where I was going."
The officer laughed, put his ticket book away and told her to have a Nice Day.

When it comes to computers, I have the IQ of a rock.  We live near 3 copy shops.  I just take a ruler & calculator and decide what percentage I want them to copy at.  Sets me back 10 cents per copy.

The downside is that this comes out of our grocery money, but we get by.   :)  :)   :)   :)   :)   :D   :D

Enjoy you Birthday !!

Many years ago, I had an Aunt that would go to the doctor and tell him about her aches & pains.  He would say, "You know, you have had a lot of birthdays."

To all you youngsters.  My sweet, caring, wonderful Wife and I are married 52 years, on our way to 75.  (If we are not hit by falling space junk before that.)

As far as how do you tell your wife, I suggest that you call her from your workshop, where you will be living for quite some time.

Hi Merlin,

Re: You had a problem trying to scroll an old oak board.

When you put the blade in the saw, have the teeth facing toward you.  :D   :D   :D   :D   :D   :D   ;D   ;D

All you nice folks on this site don't need to know why I am aware of that!!   :)

You haven't had enough coffee until you can change the blade while the saw is running.

In an Iowa store, we use a shopping cart.  Daughter-in-law born in Oklahoma and now in Texas uses a buggy.

I build a 3 legged stand on wheels.  All 1 x 4s, with a triangle on top to mount the saw. 1 leg toward me.  The bottom of the 2 back legs have a 1 x 4 across.  I sit and roll the saw toward me & either work with my feet propped up slightly on that or move around and hold the near leg of the stand with my leg. Also, the 2 back legs extend up above the saw.  Across the top is a wide board tilted down with a heater pointed toward the saw table.

Because of Religious reasons (I'm a Devout Cheapskate), I bought this.  Money VERY well spent.  Takes pin & plain end blades.
