Same happened here most clothing in NZ comes from Asian countries, it has put 10s of thousands of people out of work, in fact the company I used to work for is getting all it's knitwear made in China, so much for our scrolls saws, I have been waiting for my new one for over 3 weeks and still hqvn't heard from the importer

Here is my the wood pile it was too wet to take pics of my garden shed heap, this is mainly what I use for wood turning, there is at least 2 tree buried in there some where, plus free bees and of corse what I have bought.

I agree Steve, I am lucky I suppose I do my turning and sawing for a hobby and time is of no consecquence $$ wise, BUT in the end I make a $ here and there seling my stuff, I have picked the venues where I can sell and that keeps me going cash flow wise, believe me you don't have to be a sales man to sell your stuff just be in the rite place, check venues out sell your sawn stuff Charlie it is brilliant then put your patterns foreward so people can try for them selves, it takes time

Most tools and machinary are made in Asia these days the good and the bad, the Ryobi saw is one of the bad ones I have other Ryobi power tools and have so far no problems with them, but this saw was a dog, my fault I did no research before buying
