Thanks for getting site back up.

Only thing I wish the HF had was the ability to run on 120/240 instead of just 120. :)

HF has their 2hp like that on sale right now I believe for $169.00.  I have one and for the money I like it, it does the job and as mentioned a better filter could be added. )

dgman,
I have a similar set up on the SS except I have a 4" line under the saw and a 1" line above and both connected to a 4" line to my Thein style separator to my HF 2hp DC.  But I feel the 2hp DC is over kill for a SS so I am wanting to use something smaller just for the SS and thinking about the Dust Deputy for a separator and changing the lines on the SS to 2 2 1/2" lines into the Dust Deputy then into a smaller DC that draws a lot less current and makes a lot less noise but unsure how effective the Dust Deputy is on such fine dust.  I have a small squirrel cage blower with a 4" diameter input and a 6" output that I will try to use for the SS DC and instead of a filter I want to try venting outside.

Does anyone use a Oneida Dust Deputy on their scroll saw? Does it do a good job of removing the fine dust from a scroll saw and help keep the DC filter clean? I know they work pretty good on larger waste but curious about finer dust from a SC. I want to set up a different dust collection system for my SC, I find it such over kill using my 2 hp DC for my SC.

I can stand a Nickle on end on top of the EX-21 work table and it won't fall over when I run the saw.  Ray @ SEYCO is the man to deal with, good service, very knowledgeable and completely sets up each saw before shipping. :)

Got a little idea how that feels as this summer I crushed and tore off 2 finger tips and shattered the bone in what was left of one of those fingers.  I have not been in the works shop since then but itching to get back at it.  No this did not happen in the work shop.

I also keep my dust mask in a large ZipLock bag to keep dust off when not using it.

Hopefully enough people realize this before it is too late like some other countries in the past.  We must learn from history, some of these politicians either are too stupid too realize this or they have an agenda.  A famous quote I well remember "We will take over the USA without firing a shot, we will do it from within". :(

Haven't started selling anything yet but that price seems way too low for that much work! JMHO :)

Toneman, please post the answer from Ray so we don't have to bother him later for an answer.  I suspect it is not that critical, but what do I know. :)

Not in the workshop right now but if I remember correctly it limits the amount of travel on the tension lever.  The correct procedure to set it I don't know.  I have a .pdf copy of the manual I can send to you if you send me your EW_Mail addy.
