Hello all. Just thought I'd pop in and say Hi. Just joined yesterday and have already got quite a few tips from here. Looks like it should be fun.  I've been scrolling off and on for quite a few years but don't seem to get to do it as much as I'd like to.

hello welcome  what part of North Dakota are you from?

I'm near Fargo!

The white lever on the top blade holder has been revised to prevent the lever from popping up while sawing. The new lever is available from Seyco. Works great.

Bob

I just go the new tension lever 3 days ago that really works great a little to good lol.  I have to resetup the saw so it is working like it was before.

I know something that all of you want to know.  but i'm not telling you people yet about what i know about these two scroll saws the dw788 and the ex-21 scroll saws that well make cutting a snap.

I have been scroll sawing for a long time.  And I use spiral blades.  Everything was fine until this last week. No matter what I cut or the blades I use there are small ridges on the cut edge.  I have tried Mikes blades and two other kinds.  I am still getting the ridges.
this pieces is 3/8 Baltic Birch stacked x 2.  I am also getting it on the 3/4 Maple.
This is my delta which up 'til now has been Great.  Please help if you can I am running out of ideas.
Hope you can see what I mean in the Picture.

is this the one you were talking about the cutting edge  was the crown on the scroll saw?

You wanted to know how to do  clean o/s install.  since you really don't know how to do that you should let someone else do the reinstall of the o/s.
