Bout all I can offer is my story....  My Hegner is a 1998 model.  Years ago IT STOPPED.  Like the plug was un-pluged.
Called the Rep. for Hegner.  Took the RUBBER cover off from the ON/OFF switch.  WAS FULL OF FINE SAW DUST.  Packed!
After GENTLY cleaning it.  Yea!  Bingo....  All WORKED PERFECTLY.    Maybe this will be.  ?  Danny  :+}

My Daughter's Birthday is next month....She collects GIRAFFES.  Asked me for a Neck up of one that will HOLD EYE GLASSES.
STEVE designed one of a Face with the glasses sitting on the Nose.  Its in his patterns under Misc.  Don't know how to put
a LINK in here yet.

If any of our Great Designers could work on this I would Greatly Appreciate it.   Thanks in Advance....  Danny  :+}

I want to THANK EVERYONE for their Kind comments.  Thank you Frank.
     The awful thing about having this cribbage board is....I can't remember the last time I played!
Remember Mom and I playing games sometimes, but not very often.  Oh well.  Times Change.  Danny  :+}

Mom went to Heaven a couple years ago.  I kind of inherited this board.   Long, long ago Mom, Dad and I played Cribbage almost Daily.  Of course .... Against each other.
Along with Pinocle, Hearts, Canasta, Spades and good ole Gin Rummy.  Remember these games?

My Dad has been gone since 1981.  Not sure exactly when I made this board, but before 1981 anyway.
So this board is OLD.  I vaguely remember making it.   As you see my Artist ability wasn't that great.

Anyway I just wanted to show it.                         All comments are Welcome.            Thanks for viewing.  Danny  :+}

I just had to Chuckle a bit with reading the above posts.  Yes ME also went thru this phase.  For better or worst
when a Scroll Saw is really OLD I say it has seen its time.  Move on and buy another.  Even Lowes has starter
scroll saws that work GREAT.  This is how I started Many years ago.  My Opinion ....  Danny  :+}

Ben from my First look I felt this piece was Great.  You did a fine job of cutting it.  And finishing also.
Got to add to the part of SANDING etc.
     Maybe its because I use a Hegner Scroll Saw, but my advice is from experience on
NOT HAVING SO MANY OF THEM ....LIL....FUZZIES...........
     Until I found my FAVORITE BLADE I was like all spending lots of time with the FINE SANDING.
Now....Very little and I mean Very, Very little time Sanding.

Use the FD-UR #1 Blades....  Light sanding with 220 grit and using a medium bristle brush.  Just brush it off.
                           Well as my usual..............This is just my opinion........................Danny  :+}

Thanks to Everyone for your kind words.
Karl what ever species the wood is I say it cuts Beautifully.
And I only use the FD #1 blades.
Wished I could of got good with the Spirals, but didn't.
They would of made the longer length a Walk in the Park.
                Thanks again.............Danny  :+}
