that is absolutely fantastic, and I agree with the others it was a wise move to put glass in the frame.

Hey Billy, you done some nice cutting there, it's amazing the amount of different shades and colours you can get out of that type of finish. and I agree with you 100% - It absolutely stinks. but once it's fully dried there is hardly a smell at all, then when your finish is applied there is no smell

when I was working I worked for a company that made compact roadsweepers and winter maintenance equipment, one thing they made would have helped you immensely, it was a snow cutter/blower about the size of a medium sized lawnmower. it would cut into the snow and blow it through an adjustable nozzle about 30 feet.

Dean, even with the thick lines to follow, you managed to turn out a beautiful piece of work.

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: blind woodworkers....

In our woodturning club we have a Blind turner, he produces work that is absolutely fantastic. he can tell by the sound if he is cutting correctly, he feels the wood with the lathe stopped then feels the tip of the gouge and moves it to within 1/8" of the wood then starts the lathe and moves the gouge in the last little bit to start cutting. He did a demo at the club, it was fantastic to watch. Attatched is a picture of him at a "Sunday Funday" meeting, he is checking out other peoples work by touch. The bowl of fruit in front and to the left of him in the picture is some of his work. (And he still has ALL of his fingers!!)
