General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Dremel Router Rig
« on: January 27, 2011, 02:06:11 pm »
Thanks for showing me the link.  Looks fairly simple.  Looks like its just screwed into either the wall or a piece of wood and mounted.  I can really see it routing thinner wood pretty good.  Need to get one.  Danny  :+}

I am also a lil into facebook, but mostly just to read all the odds n ends that some of my family and friends yack about.  Some is really interesting and some is very important....BUT....to me Facebook is a big waste of time over-all.  I would rather be in my shop enjoying my hobby.  Danny  :+}

After watching the 3 videos I am convinced that this guys set up is something good for any work shop that uses a shop vac.  I shall start constructing my roll arould shop vac box soon.  Might even connect the power cord to my foot switch and install Steves idea of the funnel under the table.  Love this forum.  Always learning something.  Danny  :+}

Thanks Marcel for the comment.  I wonder why the Hegner's table isn't as wide as other Scroll saws.  Now the dewalt 788 (to me) is HUGE.  Anyway....  Danny  :+}

General Scroll Saw Talk / Hegner Scroll Saw....
« on: January 04, 2011, 12:02:27 pm »
Been reading quite a lot of posts on the Dewalt 788.  Never owned one, but the pictures look very good.  Waz just wondering if any of ya's use the Hegner?  I have had three other saws in the last 6 years.  Now I own a Hegner 18" and I have decided that it looks to be built very simple, but very strong and very quite.  Cuts Beautifully.  Its a 2001 model.  I know Al has one.  Anyway I waz just wondering as I would LOVE to read any posts about it.  Later....  Danny  :+}

I have seen some mentions back yonder about making the cut line RED for better viewing while cutting....  This is probably a DUMB question, but how do I go about making the black line RED?  Is there a way to set the printer up to print only in RED?  Thanks for your help....  Danny  :+{
P.S. I am fairly NEW to the PC world.
