By chance, would your hubby's name be Jimmy?
Happy anniversary

Hi IBMer:
I feel your pain and have to agree with you 100% about new appliances.
The older appliances were much easier to care for and repair when something did happen to them.
Good luck with the action suit

Hi Frank:
Good pattern - Great cutting
My personal opinion
I am by far not an expert in this field
Overall, the pattern looks good but I would try and do a little more on the right side of your face where the shadow is on the picture. Try to get more of your cheek in there.
Like I said this is my personal opinion -
I can see another excellent pattern maker in the works here for sure
Thanks for showing us

Hi Charlie:
If I'm the buyer I would pay what you currently sell your patterns for.
Why would I pay more for it. I want to make as much money as I can with your patterns.
If you want to give me the rights for all of your hard work I say Thank you very much
We all know that you are one of the best when it comes to designing so I know your work will sell.
So, figure out how many patterns you have, what you currently sell the pattern for and you have your answer

What your work is really worth is not for me or anyone else to determine
You know how much work you put into it so you have to decide what is good for you and live with that decision

Kinda feel sorry for the cashiers, waiters/waitress (trying to earn a few bucks) who serve us and have to abide by these stupid rules - They are the ones who get crapped on by us for following someone's so called rules

Hi Paw Paw Ray:
Is it possible that you are talking about ambigrams
This is where the word is the same when you flip it around/over
Google the word ambigram and you will see what I mean
I'm very interested in what you saw but I have yet to see a pattern/ornament
like you describe
I'll keep looking

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Ornament to paint or not to paint
« on: October 13, 2012, 04:16:28 am »
Hi mrtcurtis:
I think you answered your own question
By hand with acrylic paint will look better
I find with spray paint, there are always a few small inside areas that are missed
When you try to touch these areas up then the paint runs, ruining the look of your ornament
It may take you a bit longer by hand but the end result will be well worth it
Good Luck

Tutorials, Techniques and Tips / 3D name plate
« on: October 03, 2012, 04:04:08 am »
Is there a tutorial somewhere that explains how to make the 3D name plates
I know Steve Good has a tutorial on how to cut them (Tony Stewart keychain)
but I would like to add my own names
For most part the blank is 1.5" X 1.5" x whatever length you need
Thanks
