Well Dave, I have the UK EX-21 from Axminster in Devon I can tell you the built quality is EXCELLENT the proof is in the eating and I've been eating this one for over a year now and haven't regretted a penny spent on it.
As for who makes them I DON'T CARE I love it.

Cool sounds like I will be looking at the EX, hoping here in the near future if can talk the old lady in letting me have it and spending the 600 bucks on it, maybe smooth her over during christmas or something.

Thanks for the good comments all and as for IPAD & TV controls just make them wider, I have been asked to design an aeroplane as a phone holder so watch this space and who knows i might come up with another IPAD stand. lol

Yes Ray it's also good for stacking patterns for cutting and easy to separate but strong enough to how together for cutting.

It not silicone it's a form of thermoplastic in a stick form which cools quickly and sets, where as silicone take forever to dry lol  .
Try it out you might find more uses for it as I did when waiting for other glues to dry a bit of hot melt will act as a clamp.
