i think thin boards are a better idea as you can glue together if you want a boarder board, that is what I am doing as ply is hard to get in NZ and the price is high for quality wood

I have heard you guys debating spiral blades and today I wished I had some to try, my first attempt at a cross with a lot of interecate cuts and it took me fore-ever going back and forewards to get good clean cuts and I can see that a spiral would have been the ansewer

Yeh your rite Janet, he still is a good movie star, liked his westerns as well as his dirty harry flicks, john was a bit boorish at times but good in his day, I loved his westerns when i was a real young fellow

I don't think they used it for telephn poles, they use to use Karri, [I think that is how it is spelt] it comes from western OZ and is the tallest strait growing tree, it is very dense and is a pink colour, I have a few length at home but plays havoc with saw blade
