Merlin,  It might be worth mentioning that the Grandkids are not necessarily responsible either.  It is fairly common to go to a website innocently enough and then get hijacked into a torrent of porn and other sites with no intention of doing so.  I know your message didn't blame them, but thought this worth bringing up.

You could do it that way, or just mount the power strip on the outside of the box and no drilling is needed.

You could certainly do it with wall outlets and electrical boxes mounted inside the box, but you might want to consider simply building the box and mounting one of those multi-outlet surge protector strips to one side of the box.  That would offer you several outlets, a switch, surge protection, and eliminate the need to do any wiring.  Many of them come with mounting holes on the back so you can simply put a couple of screws into your box and hang the strip from the screws.

Tha looks great!  I tried a stamp years ago, but the ink would bleed all over the place when I used a finish over it.  I'll look for a non-bleeding ink pad.

Add me to the list of admirers of Sheila and her work.  She also maintains a very interesting blog on lumberjocks.com.

Thanks Sheila!

Now that you posted the site from the blog, I remember viewing it, but the PRICE?  The other one I had heard of was metal coins, but I've never seen them.

I am looking for a unique way to sign my stuff.  I've seen the branding irons, but heard they can be inconsistent and a little tricky.  I read of one person who had coins with his logo on them made and recessed them into the wood alongside a penny from the year of origin of the project, I just can't fine a source for the coins.  Currently I just stamp my initials in with metal punches.

Do any of you have some other ideas?

Merlin,
Do you have the "view" on each computer set to thumbnails?  If one is on thumbnail and the other is on icons, that would cause the problem.  Just a guess.

Guess you got me there.  I do have the full version.  Never realized the reader wouldn't allow page deletions.

Hi Dave!  Welcome from another Floridian.  Sounds like you might be in a position to offer some advice around here, and you will probably benefit from what others here can offer as well.

Welcome Manuel!  You said you have a lot of free time and the two things you need the most to get started are free time and scrap wood, so you are half way there already.

True Janet, but it might have something to do with how it displays the thumbnails for the files and it is the thumbnail that gives you the picture of the first page.  Personally, when I downloaded one of Steve's patterns I just deleted the first page because he always had a photo of the project on the 2nd page.
