Thanks, I was curious though they all say 25 watt, that does not sound like much light?  Really have to shop around too.  So many different prices.

I'm not Roger but the answer Janet is Nope.  They are cut out and remain attached.  I just cut his pattern so I know..LOL

Rog those are great.  I did not place a base on mine.  I offered an add on optional base for $5.00 and 1 said yes and 1 said no thanks.  I'll be making a few more crosses for this upcoming Saturday market.  Including the other 2 you shared with me.

What kind of dog?  What breed?  Just type in the breed name like boxer silhouette in Google search under images and voila' you'll have more than you can handle.

Puzzles for the old age home.  Not too expensive but range from not too easy to rather difficult.  They love puzzles, all kinds especially jig saw puzzles.

I do not know what problems you would encounter that a local repair person could not address.  However as soon as that is said something will come up.  I would think shipping will be prohibitive though.  It will be interesting to see what they tell you.  Please keep us informed.

I too have been curious about the Ott lights.  However I think I'd like a floor model.

I agree some wood shavings can be or are toxic to your plants.

The fd polar #3.  Does it leave a lot of fuzzies behind or does it do a good job of cleaning up after itself like the fd Ur sizes.  I usually use the fd ur #3, 5 ,7.  They took a little while to get used too but I can't imagine using anything else on a regular basis.  i do have some olson's on hand for backup when I run low.

Here is the cross Roger shared the pattern too.  I made two of them out of 1/2" Mahogany.  I then dipped in Lemon Oil.  I think they turned out rather well.  Thank you for sharing the pattern.
