Here's one I did for my son. I think he liked it. It's 1/4 inch BB.

Nice cutting on that model. You used a #5 blade. I used a #3 on my portrait one. I might have to try a 5. Thanks for sharing.

You guys just do great work changing photos into patterns. I wish I knew how to do them to. I have adobe photo shop on my PC that my son put on for me but he never has the time to show me how to do anything with it.

Thanks everyone. I hope the next one comes out a little better. I have to learn by my mistakes. Have to make sure I make a sample cut first for the right degree angle, so it opens a little deeper. I forgot to mention the kinds of wood I used. There's 6 different types. Oak, walnut, cherry, mahogany, maple and padauk, which is the red one.

Count me in. I never done that before so I'm not sure what we have to do. I'm kinda new to the forum.

My first multi colored bowl. It was a little tricky. I kinda messed up on the blade size and degree of the cut. It called for a size #9 blade but I used a #7 instead because I didn't have any #9's and I didn't make a sample cut first so I had to cut about a 1/2 inch off the handle because the bowl didn't open enough for me. Live and learn I guess.

Hi Peter, I have an ipad and android phone. I was looking for something for the computer if I can find something. I'll have to try and do a search I guess, maybe for the Ipad might be good.

Hi Wildhorse. I was able to get the pattern and I'm almost done with it. I just finished oiling it with Danish oil so I'm letting that dry now and then I'll put it together. I'll try and put a pic on when I'm done. Thanks again Ralph.

Hi don, I made that one a few weeks ago. It came out pretty good. I made it out of oak.  Wasn't to hard to do. Good luck making it. Ralph.

Hi Don. I checked that site out and the book that they show for Vol #2 is "Holiday Ornaments Toys & Gifts Volume 2". Do you know if that's the right one. They want $9.95 for the back issue.

I searched that site and they have a Holiday Issue 2010 #53. It has wood carving of Santa' s on the cover but it doesn't say if it has the plans for that basket in it.
