Steve,
I was just wondering if the monthly give away contest is still in effect.
I have been entering everyday for some time but, haven't seen a drawing in my e-mail for quite sometime. I may have just missed it at some point or maybe it has been discontinued.
Just courious to know if I've been "spinning my wheels" for no reason or not.

Put a piece of painters tape (masking tape) over the area or edge to be glued before putting on any finish. I pre-finish alot of things before assembly and have found that most wood glues need raw wood to adhear well.
After the finish has dried, pull off the tape and glue as normal.
Some finish just under the edges will not hurt too much as long as you have plenty of raw wood space for the glue to grip.

You could build a few step stools. Kids need them in bathrooms and kitchens to reach the sink and most of us need them to change light bulbs and reaching the top shelf  from time to time.

When you think about it, $10.00  per hour is pretty cheap. Just ask any plumber or auto tech. or anyone who works a real job almost anywhere. Don't forget the price of materials and the cost of your saw and blades and finishing materials.
You will probably never get to making alot of money scrolling but, don't cheat your self either.
If you start off high, you can always come down but, you can never go up on price.
