Hey Rich....Gee I sat back and imagined how your accident might of happened and thinking back to the 100's of different times I have use this saw.  Did have a few with the flying cut-offs, but nothing serious happened.  You keep being your happy self and with Gods help you will adapt to this new way.

Hi to All....  Well this product was given to my lil Bro and he just wasn't into it, so thats why I got it pretty cheap....NOW.... 
     I have watched a video about the operations of it and really sounds fairly simple to use....BUT....  Not being real, real good what to do with the SCANS afterwards.  Probably pretty simple....BUT....  I would love to hear from yas about how you DO IT and the way to store the SCANS.  Haven't even used it yet.  Just needed more info from all yas.  Thanks In Advance....  Danny  :+}

Has anyone used this device?  Have a chance to buy one Brand Smakin New still in the box for $30 bucks.  Checked into a video of all it does and just have a hunch it might come in handy for patterns.  Looking forward to hearing all about all of your experience with this.  Thanks....  Danny  :+}

     Or is there one and I just don't know about it?

I would say like a lot of you.  Being involved in other Scroll Forums that

Wally-W0rld sells a Krylon brand spray varnish.  Shiney or not.  Drys real fast and with a ligh sanding (Brown bag or) another spray and same and wait fer a hour and spray a Good Two coats of Minwax Poly (Gloss or not)  I prefer my projects to shine more than not.  My two cents worth....  Danny  :+}

Gee this one was touchy here n there, but I sure did enjoy cutting it.
Experimenting with the color backers.  The dark blue has something?

No on stacking 1/2"....3/4" my limit normally.  Stacking boards together is simple by using a good glue on the waste areas (especially on the corners).
It only takes a drop here n there.  Let dry for usually minutes and this eliminates the hot glue gun and waiting for it to heat and also the mess it makes.  I prefer the painters tape and pattern glued to it. 
     When doing portraits I cut the blanks a little bigger than the final size and apply drops of glue around the borders top n sides.  Thats my 2 cents. Danny:+}
