Ok, you asked for constructive criticism.  I don't think you should do work of this caliber any more because it makes so many of the rest of us look so bad.  Can't you dumb yourself down to make us feel better about ourselves?  ::)

Beautiful job!

This forum is the most often checked site on the net in my daily routines.  Every time I meet a scroller or find out that someone on LumberJocks or at our woodworking guild is getting into scrolling I refer them to this forum and Steves site as the most valuable resource for scrollers available.  Keep it up, but please don't burn yourself out!  We need you too much.

I can relate to that to Gabby.  Never got a dui, but I have experienced most of the rest of that story.  It's worth it to pay for the oil change.  Besides, my new car only requires oil changes every 10,000 miles.

Same experience here.  In fact last month @ our woodworking guild we were asked to bring in our worst tool.  That was mine.  All failed within a few weeks, and if dropped they snap off easily.  As said, you get what you pay for.  The name brands cost a lot more, but last and do the job well.

Woodcraft sells them in various sizes as does Peachtree supply.  I bought an assortment of 100 magnets a while back on a special from Peachtree.

The Coffee Shop / I can relate to that!

I heard a line on a sit-com last night that I could relate to.  It was kinda like one of those personal rainclouds from the funny papers that hangs over somebody's head.  "I just realized that I am too old to die young!"

Then again, if I can live to be 102 that means I'm only middle-aged!

Maybe that would make a good scrolled sign!

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Removable Adhesive Paper
« on: August 19, 2011, 10:16:38 am »
Gabby, the size is the normal 8 1/2 by 11 inch sheet.  Yes, it is much more expensive per application than normal paper, but removal is so effortless, and I am so computer dependent for printing out my patterns that it is worth the extra to me.  I don't use it for everything, but it's a good resource.

You are an inspiration DW.  Wait until I can show you the box you inspired me to do.  I'm working on it now.

The paper I get from Sloans seems to come off even easier than the sheets of full size self adhesive from the office supply stores.
