My spouse says "When you quit looking, they throw dirt in your face".  You are never too old to look.

The Navy could not pronounce the last name as it is spelled, they always use the last name to call you, so they shortened it to "jeff".  Most of my friends use that name but my sister calls me my given name, Bill. The "44" is for the year I was born.

Gabby I know how you feel, I am the same way about my Retired Racing Greyhounds.  I am on my 5th. now.  They are around 4 to 5 years when they come off the track and can live to 12 to 15 years.  Markie is 12 1/2 now and is an old gentleman, he is losing his teeth and has artrititis but we love him and try to keep him as comfortable as possible.

Welcome to the family Trev.  We are happy that you found Steve and his family.  The family always is here for you, at any time day or night, if you have questions or just need some one to talk to, with the family being world wide someone is usually up and available to talk to.  I am in the Southern United States, Georgia to be exact.  Jeff

To join AARP you only have to be 50, so I guess 50 makes you a senior.

The weather here in Georgia is sunny and starting to get in high 70's low 80's.  I think it will be a great day to get in my shop in the basement and make some sawdust after I setup and install my new Rigid random spindle sander I purchase yesterday.  i am making some plaques for my mechanic and I need the spindle part to do the inside curves.

Thanks Marcel.  I tried Inkscape but My computer had a problem and when I fixed it I have to reinstall a lot of my programs.  My wife does some work from home under a very secure network and it gets stange about some programs or sites.  I some times think it is to messy to work with and just get an air card for my computer.

Is there a pattern program that has different font styles and sizes?  What I am looking for is one that I can do different desk sets with different styles of lettering for different customers.  I also don't want to break the bank getting the program.

I bought the 9 in bandsaw a couple of months back.  I love it, it fits in a spot that is not to cramped and does excellent work.  I have it hooked up to my central vac, no problems and is realitive quiet.  I would recomend it.

If the site went down, not only would the world as we know it end, but there would be less peace in the world and there would be a great moan heard round the world.  Like the rest of you this site is a major part of my day.  I have learn so much and meet so many wonderful friends here.  It would definitely be a trajedy.  Long live the Scrollsaw Workshop.

Thanks for all of the information.  I have a spam block on my computer and once I tell it that the address is spam, it blocks all e-mail from that address, but I will check out the other suggestions.  Thanks again.

The Coffee Shop / unwanted E-mail

Has anyone had some new unwanted E-mail?  I have just in the last couple of days started getting some e-mails from some kind of a Harry Potter group.  They had address me with my scroll saw log in "Jeff44".  I only use that log in for this site.  I thought I had better ask to see if anyone else has had a similar problem, and warn you about it.
