Went to the public library the other day for some pattern books on scroll sawing and all they had out of 100,000 plus books in the whole of wellington were 2 and I had to order them in so when I eventually got them they were years old and of not much use, I have since ordered 2 from Fishpond and they should be here soon

Which way do you cut? I cut from right to left or feed the wood in anti clock wise, I also do the same on the band saw when poss. they say it is some thing to do with the making of the blades

General Scroll Saw Talk / The line
« on: September 27, 2010, 01:59:47 am »
Over the line, under the line, on the line, where does one cut, I started out by trying to all ways cut on the line that is what the books say, BUT I had trouble with a lot of puzzles, SO now I cut where I think I should, I do not have the on going problem now of the keys breaking
What are your thoughts on this?
