I created this 36" vertical birdhouse display stand. It has a 10 in circular base with a 7 inch secondary base then a 1 1/2 square poplar dowel with 1/4 dowels placed every 6 inches. It will hold at least a dozen birdhouses at one time. It can also double as a 3/d Christmas ornament display stand as well. It was not hard to do.

It is to display these Mini birdhouses

The woods used for them are Eucalyptus, Pine, Poplar, Cedar, Purpleheart, RedWood

Brag Forum / 10 round 6 compartment jewelry box

Cut from Poplar and bamboo. This jewelry box is 10 inches in diameter and the compartments slide out from the unit. The compartments are 1 1/4 in deep. The top is a ring that is 3/8 inch thick. Both the compartments and the top are flocked with kelly green. The unit is on a totally integrated wooden lazy-susan that I designed. The Lazy Susan is held off the bottom by 4 1/4 in high 1/4 inch rounded over dowels.

Pattern by Steve Good slightly modified by changing the wood thickness. White pine was used and then stained with ta water based white stain then sealed with lacquer and then lightly hit with silver glitter spray on the wings.

Brag Forum / Art in the Park results

It was a very nice day for an Art and Craft Festivity. In the middle of the afternoon it did get a tad bit warm but we got through it. Below is the layout of my display. Once again I was the only scroller in the pack, there were two turners and a couple of wood painters. It was fun. I did surprisingly well considering the Cleveland area is not known for wealth at the moment. The lady in the pictures is my mother.

Poplar 3 Lobe bowl. Cut from 3/4 poplar. Finished with homemade beeswax polish/finish

Mahogany 3 inch Round Box. Finished in semigloss lacquer.

10 Round TuIts cut from Finnish Ply and finished with shellac

3 Gift card holders - Paduk, Mahogany and Baltic Birch

Base is Oak, Dark gear is American Black Walnut and Bamboo. Finished with semigloss lacquer. Pattern By Steve Good.

Brag Forum / Round Mahogany Box

Made from a 3 7/8 in diameter x 1 1/2 in thick piece of scrap mahogany. The hinge was a piece of scrap quarter sawn oak. Finished with shellac.

The wood used was Quarter Sawn Oak, American Black Walnut, finished with a semi gloss lacquer.
The bowl is done and from the blank I showed you I got this. . . . . . .
