I was just wondering if anyone has heard any news on how Kepy is doing.

God still answers prayers.
Today we have had tornadoes, wind and it has rained pretty much all day. I can still hear the thunder as I type. We lost power around Noon today and I have been running off generators. No water either. But my house is safe, all my children, their family's are safe. Their homes came thru with some minor damage.
I have never experianced such bad weather in my entire life and we surrvied the 2004 Hurricanes when four came thru Florida.
The only bad thing to happen is a large tree in my front yard on the property line of my neighbors came down in his front yard. Thank God it missed his house. I will post some pictures later.
The whole time it was storming I was praying and asking God to protect my family and our homes and he did.

The Coffee Shop / Benefit For A Fire Fighter Friend

Saturday I attended a benefit that I helped organize for a Fire Fighter Friend (Ric) who had to retire last year on disability due to lung cancer. I remember when Ric was hired and has been my friend for twenty five years. He is doing good has one more treatment and then we will see if it goes into remission. About one hundred and fifty people showed up to give him support and encouragement in his time of need.
Aproximately $10,000 dollars was raised for Ric and the Fight For Air Climb - American Lung Association Saturday.
We had a local Pipe & Drum Honor Guard show up and play for Ric at the benefit. Here is a short video of them playing I have posted.

Brag Forum / My Grandson Gage's Float 1st Place

There is not allot of scrolling in this project but I had to share it with you. My son-in-law's (Clay) family has had a tradition of entering the babies in there family in the Strawberry Festival Baby Parade for over fifty years and have won numerous trophies.
So My daughter (Amber) and Clay came to me about four weeks ago and wanted me to help them build a float for Gage to enter in the baby parade. Amber had a theme she wanted to do so it was up to Clay and me to make it work. Amber did all the decorating, Clay and I did all the wood working. I did use the scroll saw to make the signs on the float.
Well this is what we came up with and Gage won 1st Place Saturday 03/12/2011.

I don't know how many members have been watching the turmoil in Egypt but Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak stepped down and relinquished power to the nation's military. I hope and pray they are moving towards a democracy as other nations have. Ripples of this news will continue to effect the rest of the world. I think it is fantastic any time any nation takes a step towards democracy.

It has come to my attention that there may be issues with Image Shack images initiating various viruses when clicking on the thumbnails to view larger images. Several people have notified me of a problem and some have been damaged/infected.
One of these virus/malware is the AV8 virus. What is av8 scan? The av8 virus causes computers to show fake av8 scan so non suspecting pc users may be lured to buy the virus av8 anti virus.
I realize that not everyone has experienced this issue. I don't feel this is from any forum members, but rather a problem with Image Shack that has been persistent and reported for several years now.
It is STRONGLY advised that users avoid clicking on thumbnail views from Image Shack and also advised that users switch to using another web based storage / posting sources such as Photobucket or others.
I am also asking those who use Image Shack refrain from posting pictures/links on this forum through Image Shack until we feel the problem is resolved.
I have tried to go through and delete all the links causing problems. It seems to be isolated to the most recent posts/links.
I am sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

There is this atheist swimming in the ocean. All of the sudden he sees this shark in the water, so he starts swimming towards his boat.
As he looks back he sees the shark turn and head towards him. His boat is a ways off and he starts swimming like crazy. He's scared to death, and as he turns to see the jaws of the great white beast open revealing its teeth in a horrific splendor, the atheist screams, "Oh God! Save me!"
In an instant time is frozen and a bright light shines down from above. The man is motionless in the water when he hears the voice of God say, "You are an atheist. Why do you call upon me when you do not believe in me?"
Aghast with confusion and knowing he can't lie the man replies, "Well, that's true I don't believe in you, but how about the shark? Can you make the shark believe in you?"
The Lord replies, "As you wish," and the light retracted back into the heavens and the man could feel the water begin to move once again.
As the atheist looks back he can see the jaws of the shark start to close down on him, when all of sudden the shark stops and pulls back.
Shocked, the man looks at the shark as the huge beast closes its eyes and bows its head and says, "Thank you Lord for this food for which I am about to receive..."

Two buddies were camping in the woods together, sharing a tent. One morning they heard rustling outside the tent and then a loud growl. They looked out and sure enough it was a huge brown bear looking for food.
The first guy immediately starts throwing on his clothes and running shoes. The second guy says
"What are you going to do?"
"RUN!" says the first guy.
