here's my latest portrait it's my sister at age 12. it's cut from 1/4" birch plywood,its 8-1/2" by 11" with 438 cuts. i used a 50/50 mixture of boiled linseed oil and paint thinner. a big THANK YOU to Paul (Grampa) for the great pattern. hope you like it.

General Scroll Saw Talk / mitre saw

this is a bit of the topic of scroll sawing.anyone ever here tell of or got a 10 or 12" Kawasaki compound miter saw. if so do you know where i can get the parts diagram for it.i got one a couple week ago and the manual,parts list, bolt,blade washers and also the dust bag was missing.called the store where i got it and what you know nothing they could do (SURPRISE). they where good enough to give me my money back and keep the saw(COOL). check the toll-free number on the saw they told me that the model saw was a direct import item and nothing they could do unless you have part number for the parts you need. anyone got any ideas of where to go or look??

Here's my latest project,haven't been scrolling for quite awhile so I'm A little rusty on the saw so my lines aren't the smoothest. it's made from 1/4" birch plywood and spray finish.

Hi everyone i was looking for a pattern which i had but can't seem to find it.not sure exactly was on it but there was a cell phone on it and "TEXTING QUEEN" cant seem to recall where i got it.if anyone out there knows where i got this pattern or a copy of it let me know.

General Scroll Saw Talk / Broken Portrait

 :(Was at a portrait pattern,cutting along fine when i broke a piece out. now left with a big opening in her hair.still got the piece that broke of so when i gets the rest of it finished think i'm going to try and glue the piece in place and see what happens.what kind of glue is good for that sort of thing, or just toss in for firewood>
