The Coffee Shop / FINALLY ! ! !
« on: September 21, 2010, 02:51:00 pm »
Feeling up to going out to the garage and working some more on the oak table.

While weak as a kitten I did manage to get a whole bunch of things lined up to do for Christmas presents.
Made myself a 'pact' with me....The Only thing I am 'buying' for Christmas gifts this year is WOOD to make presents.
I'll see how it all works out over the next month or so!

Up and About and able to take Nourishment!
Lost 7 pounds over the last 5 days! NOT Recommended!
Still taking in fluids until I feel like I 'slosh' when I move but gotta stay hydrated.

Hope all the others that were and are feeling 'under the weather' are getting better also.

Again...Thanks for all your concerns!

« on: September 16, 2010, 11:50:54 am »
After a long overnite bus trip from Marion, IL to Traverse City, MI the Rascals gave it their best shot but went down 5 to 3 to the Beach Bums.
Game two - Thursday evening at 7:05....

This should be a battle to the finish since the clubs had almost identical records during the 2010 season.

Stay Tuned...

Once upon a time, a Prince asked a beautiful Princess... ?Will you marry me??

The Princess said ?NO!?

And the Prince lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and went fishing and hunting and played golf and dated women half his age and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and always left the toilet seat up.

The End

A government agent was visiting the Navajo reservation and was introduced to the Tribal Leader, John Soaring Eagle.
The agent noticed a very beautiful Indian woman standing behind the Leader and asked who she was.
The Leader replied, "She wife."
Agent, "How nice and what is her name?"
Leader: "Name Three Horses."
Agent, "That is interesting, what is the significance of her name?"

A very ancient and wise Chief standing off to the side replied, "It very old Indian name, mean.... NAG, NAG, NAG!"

The Coffee Shop / An Actual Court Case...
« on: September 15, 2010, 06:25:12 pm »
A lady about 8 months pregnant got on a bus.  She noticed the man opposite her was smiling at her.  She immediately moved to another seat.
This time the smile turned into a grin, so she moved again.  The man seemed more amused.
When on the fourth move, the man burst out laughing, she complained to the driver and he had the man arrested.
The case came up in court.  The judge asked the man (about 20 years old) what he had to say for himself.
The man replied, "Well your Honor, it was like this:  When the lady got on the bus, I couldn't help but notice her condition.  She sat down under a sign that said, 'The Double Mint Twins are Coming,' and I grinned.
Then she moved and sat under a sign that said,
'Logan's Liniment Will Reduce the Swelling,' and I had to smile.

Then she placed herself under a deodorant sign that said, 'William's Big Stick Did the Trick,' and I could hardly contain myself.

But, your Honor, when she moved the fourth time and sat under a sign that said, 'Goodyear Rubber Could Have Prevented This Accident' . . . I just lost it."

"CASE DISMISSED!"
