I know this was not done by scroll saw.  It was however done completely without the use of a table saw as I do not own one.  I used a 9" bandsaw, hand plane, a thicknesser and router.  This cutting board was a commission piece for a lady.  She wanted an 18 x 24 inch cutting board, so that is what I made her.  The woods used are Maple and Sapel.  I sanded it to 400 grit and then treated it to 4 coats of mineral oil ( butcher block oil ) and then a bees wax and butcher block oil mix for the final coating.  The board ended up just a 32nd under 1 inch thick.

Cut from Pine and BB Ply.  Finished with shellac and flocked in a brilliant red.

Brag Forum / 2 Drawer chest

Cut from scrap pine and poplar.  The box is 2 1/2 in. wide x 3 1/4 in. tall x 5 1/2 in, long.  The drawers have been flocked with Kelly Green Flocking.  The box has been finished with semi gloss lacquer.

This is a Steve Good Pattern.  Cut from Oak, Curly Maple and Maple Ply.  The colored balls on the ends of the tree branches are colored plastic beads.  The whole thing was given a light coating of shellac.

Brag Forum / Custom Fox Bank

A customer wanted me to make her a Fox shaped bank.  Her 7 yr old son is named Fox and she is giving this to her son for Christmas.  The bank is 15 inches long and 11 high and 4 wide.  The coloration is water based Acrylic paint and top coated with shellac

Brag Forum / 3x5 box with fretwork corners

Cut from a scrap piece of 2x6 scrap lumber.  The lid and base are 1/8 inch mahogany and the lid fretwork is cut from 1/8 poplar.  The box was sealed with shellac and topcoated with semi gloss lacquer.

Brag Forum / Long Ribbon Box

This box has been cut from Pine.  The ribbon is Red Cedar and Pine.  It?s dimensions are 11 in. long x 4 in. wide x 2 ?  inches deep.  The box was sealed with tung oil then top coated with semi -gloss lacquer.  The insides were flocked with wine colored flocking.

Created from the cutouts from making my piggy banks.  This car is made from pine and the headlights were ordered sometime ago for another project.  The eyes were glued on after applying shellac to the project.  The car is 6 inches long and 2 3/8 wide and 4 1/4 tall.
