Hello to all,
after reading this forum for a week I decided to make an account myself.
My name is Richard and I live in Tegelen (the Netherlands), a small village near the German border.
I started scrolling in 2005, as I couldn't work for a while because I broke my leg. I bought a cheap scrollsaw because I was bored. Then I found out how much fun it is to be scrolling and after a few years I bought myself a better scrollsaw. (A Proxxon DSH )
Since then I made several things, from X-masdecoration (Schwibbogen) to portraits. I discovered this site because I was searching for new scrollsaw patterns and found them here. I hope to learn a lot from you and will try to participate as much as I can on this forum. But you have to remember, english is not my native language so forgive me my faults.
I trhink I introduced myself well enough, if you have some questions, just ask.
For now, good night ( it is 11.00 PM here)
Richard

Hi Richard,
I was born in Uithuizermeeden. Gron. Tegelen is that in Overijzel? Ik had eens een vriendin there in the buurt.
Steve Good has a lot of patterns and I am sure that you can find some you might like.
Your English is very good even better than mine. Feel free to email me have you do not understand some.

Hello,
I want to thank you all for your responds.
I have the feeling I will come here a lot, because I saw a lot of interesting issues and patterns.
When I have something to share with you, I will also post it.
My problem is not understanding or reading english, my problem is to write it. It just takes a lot of time to find the exact words. But if I have a problem I'll ask for help, so dont worry.
I'm looking forward joining the forum and hope to meet a lot of scrollsaw-fanatics here.
To FD Mike: The town you were born is less than 30 miles from my hometown (Sappemeer, you can look it up at a map) Tegelen, where I live now is in the southeast of the Netherlands (Limburg) near the german border.
Greetings Richard
