Title: Surprise Mr Armadillo Calling
Post by: Russ C on April 03, 2012, 10:41:53 pm
So I am on Skype with Dan tonight and my wife comes in the room telling me some one is trying to get in the back door. I am like yeah right, "Dan can you hold on my wife is telling me something". So I go to the back door and look. Mr Armadillo has wondered up on the back porch and is bumping into everything including the back door. LOL. On of life's more interesting moments. So I guess pulling out the 45 was a little over reacting, I don't think he was going to rob us.  8)

Yeah, it was kind of funny when he came back and said an Armadillo was trying to break into the house! I didn't even know they had Armadillos in Florida. :o

They have invaded by the ton in the Tampa area!  Interesting animals.  They are the only animal I know of that can carry the leprosy virus.

BTW:  I think Dirty Harry carried a .44 magnum revolver.  What you got Ed, a 1911?  (my weapon of choice).

I would prefer the Armadillo to the Polar Bears that have been entering homes on the northern penisula of our province. They had to shoot one in one community after it had entered a house and spotted another that was roaming another community. These animals are about 8 feet tall when standing. :o
