Ever since I have had my saw I have been plagued with the problem of blade slipping with the type of clamps on my machine the cut in the blade holder was wider than it needed to be and tightening the clamp meant the tightening bolt was having to 'fight' the metal of the clamp before tightening on the blade. I saw this answer on the net and it works perfectly. Simply cut the side of the clamp the bolt passes through off and allow it to float free,see pictures, problem solved!

Hmmm, this idea might work on that old saw I have collecting massive amounts of dust. It got me started, but not always with the best of results.
