Title: Hi From The Great White North!

Greetings all...
I'm Bobby from Montreal, Canada.  Contrary to popular belief, we do not live in igloos or ride dog sleds to work here just because it is only 5 degrees above zero - or minus 15 Celsius outside this morning.  >:(  The good news is that it will be warming up come Thursday!!!  Time to get out the sun block!!!

I bought a scroll saw about 10 years ago.  It certainly wasn't a "top of the line" machine.  It was a 13" single speed bench top model that I got on sale for about $70 if I remember correctly.  I tried doing some "outside" cuts, maybe 3 or 4 times, didn't get any good results, and so it sat tucked away in my shop for all those years.

A buddy of mine has a decent saw which I tried... and was hooked.  I came home and watched all of Steve's videos and knew that I was going to love doing this, but I needed a saw.  I picked up my 788 a week ago and have been cutting ever since.  I'll be sure to start posting some of my creations as I finish them.

Welcome to the forum Bobby, I'm Keith from Cornwall U.K.  Like you I started on an old cheap machine, but I managed to make some nice pieces on it before upgrading to an EX16. I look forward to seeing some of your work posted here.
