What are the best blades to use that are on the market today.?
Brand names please and why?
New to this forum, so hello everyone......................

I have found the Flying Dutchman baldes are the best, I have tried several other brands and they don't last as long or cut as straight as these blades, in my opinion they are the best in the market. you can check them out at Mikes workshop at the following web address www.mikesworkshop.com/blades and he'll give you good service too

I bounce between Flying Dutchman and Olson blades. Both are excellent blades and I have no complaints with either. You just have to get some and see what feels right for you.

I started with Olsen's, but then I tried some Flying Dutchmen and have never looked back. Like julie said though, try some different brands out and see for yourself what YOU like best!

Flying Dutchman ultra reverse! I love them, they cut sanding time in half and hold up like a champ..

I find no one company makes the best of all blades. I find depending on the size that one company may be better than the other companies in that one size. Mostly use FD and Olson.

Flying Dutchman blades are absolutely the finest blades available. Cut better (sharper) and last longer. I get mine from Mike's Workshop. (http://www.mikesworkshop.com/blades.htm) 8)

I'm with Bob on this. For me, there is no "best". Brand A works best for this, and brand B works best for that. I use Flying Dutchman Ultra Reverse blades in sizes 1, 3, 5 and 7. I also use Olsen Reverse Tooth in sizes 2/0, 2, 5 and 7.
