Title: Blade - Brand Name
Post by: down time on January 30, 2012, 09:56:00 pm
I purchased a pk. of 12rev tooth scroll saw blade's from our local Habit for Humanity ReStore and the top corner of the pk. was cut off.

Here is some info that's on the packaging:
it's blue w/silver top
5'', 11.5T.P.I. 8rev, .047width, .017thick
Universal No. 7R

only info on the back is, Made in Germany,
always wear eye protection when using power tools.
There is also an original price sticker w/date code of 09/18/09, hope this help's.

I paid a dollar for the pk. and they had about 12pks.

Blue and Silver packing - that is what you would call a Flying Dutchman -> http://www.mikesworkshop.com/blades.htm

The German producer has blue and silver as his colors. Mike is the one to import them and does that really well (low pricing, good service).

The other brand are Olsen blades - on Germany with a green / an orange label depending on the sort.

Thank's for the info Torsten!

I'll give them a try in some 1/4 & 1/2'' BB. If I'm happy w/the performance might just purchase what they have left.

Try them. And contact Mike for more blades, those are really good and sure a recommendation. Most of us here use them.
