I drove and rode in more of them than I can remember!

Now the autos all look alike, so sad!

If only I had kept every car I had in those days.  Makes me sad, and I often wonder what ever happened to them.  Very few were stock.  :(

Every time a pre-80's car would go past the kids would yell, "what kind of car is it dad?", I'm afraid I'm starting to forget some of them. Sure loved my 47' & 57'chevy though!  Thanks

Ahhhh, the memories. Like the time dad asked why I put 50 miles on the car that night, where did you go? "to town (about a mile)", what did you do ? "nothing". Who were you with ? "friends".

What we actually did was cruise the drive ins - Dog & Suds and A&W. About a mile between each, going through a small town waving and hanging out together for about 2-3 hours.
By the way that was the last time 50 miles showed on the odometer.

Crusin Main street up and down, tis the greatest joy in town,  nothing to do, no place to go, except drag main or see a show.

I put a few miles on my cars doing just that...
