Title: A few projects I've completed
Post by: thawkins57 on January 09, 2012, 09:00:54 am
Here are photos of a few projects I completed this weekend.  They were cut, just needed sanded, finished and framed.

My girlfriend, Angie, and her dad, Kent

My son, Daniel, and my daughter, Lynn

A sign to take camping with us - this is our trailer

These are the 3rd, 4th and 5th projects in my illustrious scroll sawing career... LOL.

Thank you all for the kind words... I'm really getting into this portrait thing, designing my own patterns from photos.  One of the best things I've purchased is a Wacom graphics tablet.  It makes portrait patterns SO much easier to create; much better control than a mouse.

If they are only the 3rd, 4th and 5th projects that you have done, then you were obviously born to scroll, well done.

Thank you...  They are by no means perfect, but the nice thing about portraits is, if you miss a line or make a hole too big, no one knows it but you... LOL.  Now letters and straight lines?  Those are a different story for me...
