Title: Hi from Nicole in Las Vegas

Hi there!  I just got a scroll saw a few months ago.  My husband pointed at it and said he wanted one of those and I said okay.  Within a month I was using it for crafts (cutting chip board to make cases for fabric ereaders) and was referring it to "my" scroll saw.  Now I'd like to see what else I can do with it. My friend pointed me toward this site and I just picked out the candle cup as my first real project (hope it's simple enough!)  I'm headed to home depot right now with pattern in hand.  I look forward to getting to know a bunch of you and making new scrolling friends!  Oh!  My real name is Nicole, I live in Las Vegas with my husband and two kids (8 year old Connor and 6 year old Katie) and we have too many pets to mention.   :D

Welcome Nicole to the forum. 

There are many knowledgeable members here who are more than willing to offer any advice you're looking for.  Steve Good has created many projects you can start with as a beginner.

Hi Nicole, welcome to the forum, I'm Marg from Australia.  My first scroll saw my husband got for himself and I asked how it worked and unfortunately for him and fortunately for me he did and I was always on it and he never did use it. LOL That was about 12/13 years ago.  I used it soooooooo much I killed it and got myself a better one.
