I have got my EX-21 fix. There i was nothing wrong with the inside of the scroll saw but there was a few loose bolts on the front of the saw where you can turn the saw from side to side. So now it runs like it was new but still has some vibration to it maybe cause i'm on a wooden floor.
HAVE A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR
and check out www.northpole.com and track where i'm going on the 12/24/2011....
ho ho ho.... and a good night.

So far I am really happy with the Delta. No vibration. I did chat with Ray at Seyco, and he assures me that the Ex will out preform the Delta or DeWalt. Guess I will wait and go to a show where I can "play" with it.
Glad you got yours back.

Hey Cyber, try putting an anti fatigue mat under it. There should be vertually no vibration. If it is a vibration because of the floor, a rubberized mat should stop it.
-
Hey Judy mine should be here in a couple of days, you can come try it.

and some weight for the stand will also work.
Have fun!

Your welcome to play with mine anytime ;D
The vibration is mostly gone but all scroll saw have some vibration to it. but it is better then when it was new.
and the EX-21 is built like a tank. The dewalt and the delta only last about 2 to 3 years at the most. then it would be time to get a new one.

Judy they do have a ex-16 scroll saw its cheaper then the ex-21.
I think there other tools places around here that sell scroll saw other then acme tools of the north.
I know home depot does and northern tools.
That is where I got my dewlat from is home depot. I rather got a type 1 dewalt scroll saw.

I put rubber washer under the scroll saw where it bolt down to the stand and that help with the vibration. I could also try to get a think rubber mat down. I also lower the speed down it seems to cut down the vibration and i'm using a olson number 3 rev blade and at lower speed it seems to stay shaper when cutting bb-plywood.
