come to Cornwall - there are plenty of cats using our garden as an outhouse, have one of them lol

try a doctor pharmaceutic store were they sell needles and stuff.
they use catgut for sutures so maybe that will work for the Weather house as well.
BTW surgical catgut is made of sheep intestinal and not of cat's....
so I guess you're eating kebab tonight. ::)

The word catgut may have been an abbreviation of the word "cattlegut". Catgut is a type of cord that is prepared from the natural fibre found in the walls of animal intestines. Usually sheep or goat intestines are used, but it is occasionally made from the intestines of cattle, hogs, horses, mules, or donkeys, not the domestic cat (Felis catus). 8)

Sorry I didn't read sooner.....we just dropped an 12 hundred pound holstein, there would have been a sufficient amount forn several houses. :D

Today the "catgut" used to string tennis rackets is synthetic. Maybe you could visit a tennis pro shop and get some "catgut" for your project.

Fear not I have found some! Hobbies in UK sell it. n.b. all local cats are now safe. Old joke: two cats sitting on a wall by the local tennis court watching a game, pointing to one of the players one says to the other 'My dads in that racket' :-[
