Our scroll saws don't have anything on this guy and a band saw cutting this 3D deer!

That's one clever chap cutting that

With the scroll saw you don't have to worry about the missing fingers. Seems he got a little close a couple times.. I hate it when I get blood all over my project.
-
I forgot to count his fingers. :D
Did not know a band saw had spiral blades.

PS: Chuck I did not see your post but I agree 100% with you.

I have to agree with Chuck - I hate blood on my projects - especially when it's my blood!!!!!
-
I watched the video real close. Wasn't able to count fingers but I didn't see any red stuff squirting either. LOL. He definitely has cut that a few times. 8)

Alex Snodgrass from Carter Bandsaw accessories does the same thing at their demos. It is amazing to stand there in person and watch a demo like that!

Great work..............BUT familiarity breeds lost fingers!!!!!!!!!! :) Comparing a scroll saw to a band saw is like comparing a goldfish to a great white!!

Nice. But yikes. I agree, that's a little sketchy!
-
Not so sure......
When I cut anything over 1 inch thick, on my band saw, it requires sanding. Not on my scroll saw. Sanding degrades the scroll saw cut.
