Title: There Done!
Post by: dgman on November 23, 2011, 08:28:38 pm
With an orphan member, Some online Friends and another forum, I had nine Christmas ornament exchanges to do! They are all done, packaged and mailed! Now I can get back to finishing projects for two more shows!

Nine is a lot???  I had to do 76.  My Bride says if I can exchange them with others she can include them in Christmas cards.  But they went out today.  Needless to say they were not complicated ones.  BTW, Merry Christmas everyone, and if I have offended you that makes me feel so sad...

Well Chuck, Your da man! I've actually done about 200 other ornaments getting ready for two more shows, one next weekend and one the following weekend.
Why would you think you offended anyone?

Didn't you know?  Saying Merry Christmas offends some people.

Heck no! Christmas in not necessarily the same thing to everybody, but Merry Christmas is just as proper as Happy Holidays! So I will say Merry Christmas to you too!

at first: I didn't do stack cutting.
but thinking one ornament cost me several hours to cut and finish I still think 9 is a lot.
reading you guys do 76 or 200  :o ornaments makes me say one word:

RESPECT!

200 would take me a year to cut.
That must be why I'm known as slowcutter

Well, I stack cut. For 1/8" I cut four layers and 1/4" I stack two layers.
