I did two Christmas bazaars last week. Overall I was satisfied. I sold 5 portraits: an Indian Chief, 2 Hidden Faces in Nature, and 2 Marine - Courage. I made 38 sled ornaments and sold 34. Sold a few pens and some odds and ends. I have one more show and it was a very good one last year so I plan to make another 30 sleds and several more portraits. Good news is...I get to buy some more tools! ;D

Congrats, sounds like a pretty good show, about how many people did you have through the time you were there?
-
I don't know how many people came through. Some vendors said the crowd was a little smaller than last year. I'm still learning the ropes of these shows. Several customers said my prices were too low and only a few said too high on the pens.

would still like to find the hidden faces pattern

Congratulations Dan! Hope The next one goes as well or better! I still have two shows to go myself.

Thats great Dan, hope the next one is even better.

Thats cool, congratulation.

That sounds like a great show. Ordered your place for next year?
-
Sounds good.. sounds like you did pretty well.
-
Way to go!
Can I ask, how much do you sell the sled ornaments for?
-
I sold the sleds for $10 each. A few people said I should charge more. I'm thinking about $12 at the next show.
Torsten, I will be in the same shows next year. I want to do at least one each month starting in Sept. If I have enough inventory, I'll shoot for six shows.
