Had a Craft Show in Fayetteville, Tenn. this past week-end. Saturday was in my feelings good. Sold $403.00 worth of my crafts. Took orders from three customers. Sunday as I feel usual was low attendance, but still managed to sell another $97.00 worth. Yea! I am very happy as last year on both days I only sold 101.00. Terrible! Wanted to take pictures, but this was against their policy....SO.... Had a corner area and had two five foot tables and one six foot. I felt my display was Beautiful and as usual had many, many customers compliment me and also my craftsmanship. Yea! Had nine different designs for ornaments. Sold out of all the ones that had Merry Christmas 2011 the first day. Remember me showing Sheila Landry's real cute ornaments? Eleven different parts. Well only two were bought. And had 18 of the Gift Certificate lil holders. NONE WERE BOUGHT. Awful. Anyway I am Thankful that I sold what I did. Danny :+}

Glad you were pleased with your show. I'm a new scroller and would like to sell in the coming future - but I need hear all the particulars. Thanks for sharing the outcome. Brian

And I Thank Ya's All for your Kind Words.... Still can't understand why not a one of the Gift Certificate holders sold! Even dropped the price to $2.00 each for Sunday. Guess there just was not a buyers market for them. Danny :+}

Hey Danny, What I found is you have to "sell" some products. I had a card holder attached to a stand with a gift card halfway inserted to demonstrate what it is intended to do. Then when a customer would look at it I would tell them what it was and how it works and suggest that they needed to buy two!

Congrats on the show and so glad to hear it was better than last years was...I'm not tryin to go on my high horse by saying this,,but this is something I never understood,,,why does people wanna go buy cheap production crap and when you can spend a few dollars more for something that is hand made and the craftsmanship is outstanding...
The gift certificate holders,,that got me confused,cause that is a great idea...
Good luck on your next show....

Dan////DGMAN....Tell me if you sold any of your Lil Gift Certificate holders.
BElieve it or not.... I DID INSERT a gift card into my demonstration one and even that didn't work. Oh well I might just give um away. LOL Danny :+}

Hey Danny, Yeah I sold about fifteen of them. What did you make them from? I used solid hardwoods like Cherry, Mahogany, Walnut, Maple and Red Oak. I used Christmas ribbons to hang them from the rack.

Congrats Danny, $500,- is a great sale!
