Hi Chuck I know, but thankfully it doesn't hang around too long normally!
Still hate the stuff, I used to have to plow it from the roads and learned it's trully a pain in the butt. I don't mind seeing it on the Sisq's it does keep the streams running.

Rarely see the stuff here. Last time was in the 1970's. Love Florida.  ;)

We might have ended up farther south but any place nice year round is too D--n expensive to live there.
I loved the Solvang area but the problem is it's full of Kalifornians!
Bet I get a rise on that one!  ;D ;D

all I got to add is WE (Kalifornians) don't have to shovel sunshine. I would almost rather put up with the snow and black ice than the traffic.
I did my time in the "snow" states now its time for sunshine.

Well we got a bit last evening but thankfully it melted, went to town on an errand and the valley is ringed in with snow starting about 1500 feet elevation, pretty but it can just stay there as far as I'm concerned.

I live in A WONDERFUL SPOT ! Redding CA. I live below that snow line and so the winter is rain but it is very hot in the summer. I grew up in Kansas and used to be a trucker and I am so happy I dont have to mess with that white stuff. ;)

Lots of beautiful places down there but you couldn't afford to PAY ME to live there, I'll complain about our occasional snow here but I'm staying! I just love b******g about it. LOL
I've lived all over the west from Or to CO to TX and CA, I can't think of a better place to live than here all things considered.
Oops I've let the cat out of the bag now everyone is going to move here. LOL

Hey Rick do you know a fellow named Ron Azbury often called Raz? He's an old buddy of mine when I messed about with RC airplanes.

hey gabby, don't know him. I haven't met that many folks from here yet as I moved here not too long ago.
came here to be with my folks, as they are getting older.
also it is a great spot for my summer hobby as a gold prospector. lots of places to search and work. gets me out in the great outdoors and I do find some things to add to some of my woodworking that I do over the winter mostly.
I even get up into your neck of the woods sometimes ( so. or.) ;D

Rick if you go to Grants pass you have to go past my place, I live about a mile and a half off the Redwood highway.
