Title: Western wedding pattern request
Post by: igadavis on October 22, 2011, 09:37:10 am
I am looking for some help from our creative and talented pattern designers.

Some good friends of ours (Debbie and Scott) have decided to get married on Nov. 19th. They are having a western themed wedding in their barn. I would like to make them a wall hanging commemorating their wedding but with a western theme.

I am hoping one of you can help me out with a pattern

Thanks in advance,
John

I am envisioning a 'cowboy' and 'cowgirl' standing in front of a 'preacher' all wearing 10 gallon hats and boots!

These are great Chachi.  I wasn't sure what I wanted, horses, love and cowboys is all I was thinking.

I think we will save the gun fights for a few anniversaries down the road.

Thanks again.

I like them both Chachi.
Some of the new scrollers would have trouble with the fancy fonts I think.
I know I would.
Just a suggestion.

Also depending on how it is cut there are a lot of floaters in the letters. Just a suggestion.

Chachi, what I've seen as western fonts are actually representative of Victorian fonts which had lots of fancy edges and such. Some of the more rustic fonts will work just as well without all the tight little points and such that are so time consuming for us speed challenged cutters. Look for this one called ( Kristen ITC )I tried to copy paste it but no go. So I can't show it to you. There are bunches out there in cyber space, look for them on a rainy day when you have nothing better to do cause you'll be spending quite some time looking.
I know from experience. LOL
