Hey Gene, What's working for me is blue painters tape. I apply it flush with the bottom of the stack on all four sides. Then I cut the excess with an exacto knife so there is no over hang on the top. If you are cutting several patterns on one stack you may have to re-tape as you go along so the stack doesn't flop around as you cut patterns out.

Or you can use small pieces of double sided carpet tape!  ;D

I myself do not stack cut and everybody lets me know about it.  LOL.  But I love them anyways.

I drill holes and glue tooth picks in the waste areas. Holds firm, no movement.  :)
