Title: My first attempt at inlay.

Not really a brag so to speak.  This is my first attempt at doing any inlay type stuff.
Made from
Butternut for the background
Mahogany for the duck
Maple for the water.

I think you did great on the inlay! My only suggestion would be to change the grain direction.

I saw that challenge on the other other board Mike.  You did a great job.  I like the contrasts of the different woods you used.  Thanks for sharing it with us.
