My version of Steve's Wooden Gear Clock. This was a fun project! The gears were easier to cut than I expected. The frame is red Oak. The gears are Walnut, Maghony, Purple Heart and Red Heart. The feet are Mahogany. Cut with flying Dutchman UR 1 and 5 blades. The clock insert I had was a little bigger than the one listed. No problem, I adapted the plan to fit. Finised with a 50/50 mixture of boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits. Top coated with Deft semi gloss spray lacquer.

Dan....You made Steve proud his design by using the different woods you were able to use for its construction. You are very fortunate to have access to all the great woods you use. And I feel like Sheila does about mine.
As always you did Great.... Danny :+}
