Title: Need some help
Post by: woodyd on June 24, 2011, 06:40:20 pm: I can use some help with this. He's to be honored at a convention being held in July.

I've able to get a pattern for man and dummy which I like, but having trouble with dog. Care to do the entire pix, go ahead, might be better than mine or just the dog.

Post by: Gabby on June 24, 2011, 10:00:35 pm: What threw me AND the Boss off was the Dummy, put a top hat and monacle on the other one and I dare you to know the difference. The puppeteers are both too YOUNG in their photos and didn't recognize either one. I guess I'm NOT older than dirt just yet! ;D ;D

I made a 8.5" x 11" to start, final project will be 11" x 14"

I made a few changes, and will make some slight adjustment before I do the final project.
Suggestions more than welcome. Been said before, great people here.

I stacked cut 2 portraits. The one "posted" was the bottom one, and I didn't notice that a piece of dummy's mouth had broke off. Easily fixed today.

Post by: woodyd on July 01, 2011, 12:40:57 am: Showed my work to a fellow ventriloquist. He liked the cut, but felt Farel was too busy compared to the clean look of Jimmy & Danny. Said I should forget about trying to simulate the fur and do an outline of the dog's features. Did a very fast rework of his suggestion (graphic tablet on other computer, so done with a mouse) just to get an idea of what it would look like.

Thoughts?
