Title: A stupid question

but I'm going to ask any way-- If I made something and the image is of a copy writted item, can I show it here?? I think I know the answer, but I have to ask anyway-- Thanks--Richard aka thumbs

I'll throw my 2 cents in here Richard... Cose I have shown copyrighted work.

I wood suspect that showing the finished article is okay as long as it's not the pattern.
But then I have been known to be wrong on the odd occasion..

That is my understanding as well. From what Russ has said in the past.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people who won't ask what they don't know.

I would say sharing the pic of finished project is fine.  Just don't offer to share the pattern of a copyrighted item...

Or you can just play it safe and keep it to yourself.  Like I do....  If you don't see it then you can't complain about it...  There are to many patterns out there that are so alike and they all claim to be the original.. More than once I was told or asked "Where did you get permission to cut my pattern?".  Never saw theirs before but I don't keep track of where I get them all (my mistake).  I have done a ton of patterns.  Last count over 600 but you will never see them unless I know where it cam from, and can prove I got it there....  Just my thoughts
