Sea life Puzzle from a pattern by Ruth Chopp in the summer issue of ScrollSaw Woodworking & crafts. Woods used are Mahogany, Purpleheart, Redheart, Sapele, Black Walnut, Wenge, Yellowheart, Aspen and a mystery wood. No stains or dyes used! Frame is Red Oak and Baltic birch plywood backer. Finish is a 50/50 mixture of boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits. Top coat is Deft semi gloss spray lacquer.
The puzzle pieces were cut with Flying Dutchman UR 1 blades.

Nice one Dan.
I too have that magazine and there are several patterns I want to try in that issue. My biggest problem is finding the woods (available in or shipping to Canada) and then being able to pay for them as I can only use PayPal and not many online stores accept that. ::)
