Very nice I like it a lot. Did you build the light into it? or is it just a background light? its a little hard to tell from the angle. I too, am curious about the backer used.

Yes Triple B the lights built in to the back. I used the same wood on the back as the rest of the box its 1/4" mahogany with a 1" hole that the light snaps into. I used some of the wifes nail polish on the tip of the bulb to keep the light from coming straight out and causing it to radiate around the sides to get the light a little more evenly dristributed. The acrylic is called iroc blue and I sanded one side with 220 grit to make it opace? "hard to see through" lol
