Here?s an idea for a different take on a puzzle for young toddlers and each one can be personalized with child?s name and etc.
The puzzle is made with a double layer which is a little more challenging than a single one and when all pieces are removed, the child has to recognize shapes, colors and sequence of putting pieces back in.
I must have made at least a dozen of these for my Grandkids and for my Daughters to give to their friends, with children, as gifts.

What a great idea! You always amaze me with your work. I am just now starting my next intarsia piece. It's a pelican, it is in the latest scrollsaw magazine. I'll try and do some pictures as I go

Great idea, and awesome job as usual. I'm sure the kids get a kick out of the puzzles.
Thanks for sharing.

Those are fantastic!

These are really fun. I have also done some where there is a baby animal hiding behind the mommy animal, or different sizes of trucks stacked on top of each other.

Those are really neat Al, a great idea.
