Title: What do I do when the warped wood?

Hello everyone
I know there are softwoods but are not yet available in my pocket.
In my search I found a wood called "pine ayacahuite"
The wood is easy to cut, is soft, but has two problems that I can not fix it.
1, is very brittle, any drop or excessive force is broken.
2 ? when I brushed and cut into the bar were fine, but over a few hours the wood is buckling.
How I can solve for the wood to warp?
Am I working with the right wood?
Would someone help me solve my problem.

If you can glue two pieces together face to face, make sure the end grain goes in opposite directions.  This should help with warping.

Try laying it on a flat surface in your shop and put some weight or clamps on it to hold it down. Lay it as flat as you can for a few days and let it get accustomed to the air and humidity in the shop. This may help but it is no guarantee. You will just have to try it and see.
I have never heard of any wood that is so brittle that it breaks by being dropped. Are you sure it is not dry rotted? It doesn't sound like it would be good wood for scrolling or anything else.

I agree with Roger. If you stack them make sure you put spacers between them.  8)
