Walmart has it in the house hold cleaning section.

Any grocery store has it. It is lemon oil polish. I even found it in Ace hardwear in the "house hold cleaning department". It is fairy cheap considering you can use the same bottle over and over.
Steve has a video of how he uses it in a tuperwear container.

Thanks so much guys. I've been woodworking for many years, but i'm fairly new to scroll sawing and was wanting to enhance the look of my projects. I'm going to give this a try. Sounds like it's the ticket.

I use lemon oil and I really like the way is enhances the grain. As the others have said most stores with house hold cleaning supplies carry it.  :)

Just scanning through the topics and saw this, question do you use this like a stain just wipe on type deal?
Brand new to woodworking and have a lot to learn.
Thanks

Hey Cutter, Oil brings out the color and grain of the wood. Especially hardwoods. You soak the project in the oil, then wipe off the excess. After it is dry, you can then add a topcoat.
I do not use lemon oil. I use a 50/50 mixture of boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits. Then when dry, I use Deft semi gloss spray lacquer as a topcoat.

I always wondered about how well the topcoats bonded over the lemon oil. Are there any special kinds to use or not?

Well again I don't use lemon oil, but once dry, I think any topcoat would work.

Just be very sure it is completely dry before the final top coating. Let stand for a few days and keep buffing. When totally dry it should bond OK.

I use Scott's Liquid Gold which is virtually the same as a lemon oil. Used in the same way.
Pops the grain of the wood. Just be sure you let any oil you use to dry thoroughly before top coating with anything. I usually air dry a minimum of a couple days before any top coating, if I use a top coat at all.
